May 25 Team – Back Carry to Windy Corner

Lead Mountain Trip guide, Josh Jespersen’s team back carried from their cache below Camp 3 14,200 ft (4328 m)!  This is another “active rest day,” during which the team will descend from Genet Basin to the Windy Corner 13,000 ft (3962 m) cache and bring everything back up to 14,200 ft (4328 m). Afterward, they spent the afternoon going over climbing techniques that we will use in the upcoming days.

Tap their recording link below to hear where each of these team members was born and where they grew up! Like most climbing teams in Denali members are from around the world and it’s often a place you will meet people you would have never met back at home. Thanks for listening and reading, everyone!

  1. Loving the photos! I can only imagine the unique relationships you all are building together, and with people from all over the globe! Fun to hear where everyone is from.

I’m not sure why Caleb keeps mentioning his high school in the recordings, but… Go, Toros! 🤣

  2. Hey Steven, the weather is looking nice but very cold. Your audio sounds good too. Everyone stay healthy together.
