The team spent the day hiking around the Confluencia zone to acclimatize. and are eating very well at the comfortable camp. Meals are prepared at the Confluencia Camp, as well as at Plaza de Mulas base camp by the cooks from Fernando Grajales, our expedition support on Aconcagua. They have comfortable dining tents and a kitchen tent where they cook great meals, not found on many expeditions, including fresh vegetables and, of course, Argentine steak. The climbers are enjoying these small luxuries on the approach, and soon enough will be up high on the mountain with Fermin cooking meals in the vestibule of the tents.
