June 23rd Denali Team at 14,200 ft camp

The weather has come back into the Alaska Range, with wind and snow at nearly all elevations of the mountain today. The June 23 team is hunkered down at Camp 3 (14,200 ft) and waiting for things to improve so they can continue their climb. Today they may see a break in the weather and they’ll carry a load of food and fuel up to prepare for the move to high camp if they can. Aaron and Brandon are back in Anchorage and on their way home.

  1. Josh. Watching close. Due to blizzard, my dad’s team dug in close to where you are. Hope your stay is less than theirs. Stay strong, climb on. Sending power and strength from Oregon to your entire team! Happy Independence Day!!
