The Mountain Trip June 23rd Denali West Buttress team met in Anchorage today.  They spent the morning talking about the trip and getting to know each other, and importantly, checking all of their gear one last time prior to heading onto the glacier tomorrow.  They met in Anchorage, AK at the Millenium Hotel on the shore of Lake Hood and its busy Sea Plane port.    Tomorrow they’ll meet after breakfast for the drive to the small town of Talkeetna, AK where they’ll hop on a plane and fly into the Alaska Range for the next 2-3 weeks.
