Aconcagua Team – Rest Day at BC

Agne called in with what sounded to be a very informative, interesting and detailed report, but unfortunately, the satellite phone signal was not great, so we have only bits and pieces of the production that is Adrian’s water treatment system.  I’m sure you’ll all be on pins and needles, awaiting the missing parts of that!!

The team rested today, while Fermin finalized the preparations and packing for everything they’ll need on the upper mountain.  In the morning, they’ll pack up and climb 3000′ to their first camp on the route.  From that point until they drop down over the north ridge to the bustling base camp of Plaza de Mulas, they will be on their own, using three camps at increasingly high elevations.  Best of luck to the team!!

Here’s Agne!
