Guide Fermin Avila called in a quick update for the team during their descent back to Mendoza after reaching the summit of Aconcagua. The team has arrived back to Mendoza and are likely enjoying well-deserved hot showers and perhaps sampling the local Malbec! Here's some photos from summit day:

Climber David Haffner called in an update on the January 6 Aconcagua team, who took a second rest day at Camp Two at 18,000'. The team did a bit of carb loading with cake for lunch and did a bit of wildlife spotting from their high (and undoubtedly windy) position

Climber David Haffner called in the update today for the January 6 Team, who made the sucessfull ascent up to Camp Two! The team is in good shape but starting to feel the effects of the high altitude! You can actually hear a bit of the wind through the update.
Mountain Trip Guide Fermin Avila called in an update on the team, who plans to depart Camp One and head for Camp Two at just shy of 18,000'. Fermin mentioned that everyone on the team is doing great! Today they will spend the day ascending from Camp One to Camp
The team is making their way steadily up to the 22,841' summit of Aconcagua, the highest point in the Americas. Climber David Kozma called in an update on the team, who moved yesterday, January 14, from Plaza Argentina Base Camp at 13,800’ (4200 m) to Camp One at Camp 1
After making a push up the mountain to Camp 1 this morning, David Haffner called in a nice update on behalf of our January 6th Aconcagua team. The day began relatively early and the climbers shouldered packs with extra clothes, food and fuel.  They hiked out of the Plaza Argentina
