Team Stuart – Rest Day at 11,200′

Duncan called in after the team took a rest day at 11,200′. They have been moving quickly up the mountain, and it was time to take an acclimatization day, to allow their bodies to better adapt to the thinning air of these higher elevations. It was a day of swapping stories, lounging around and apparent dance parties.

The plan is for the team to pack up and depart camp early tomorrow in an attempt to get ahead of the heat. It has been very hot on the glacier in recent days and the crew doesn’t want to suffer any more than is merely inherent with climbing huge mountains.

Here’s Duncan!
