May 10 Team building walls and anticipating move to High Camp

Climber Brian Dagg called in a quick update on the May 10th team, who are still enjoying beautiful weather at 14,200′. They were building snow walls to shelter them from the wind that can sometimes hit 14-Camp relentlessly. They have retrieved their cache and are in a good position to ascend the steep headwall out of camp and fixed lines up to High Camp at 17,200′. From there, weather permitting, they will make their summit push!

The team had planned to have a good dinner and rest up to prepare for a couple of big days of climbing ahead.

Here’s Brian!
