June 26th Team – Tough Weather – But Getting the Job Done!

Lead Guide Adam Smith called in from 11,200′ this afternoon. The team arrived just before a challenging snow storm hit camp, dropping 20 inches (.5m) of snow amidst 30 mph winds. The result was that they had to spend some time digging their tents out from firmly set up drifts of snow!

The weather abated in the early afternoon and the team shouldered their packs to drop down to 10,000′ where they had left a cache of supplies a couple days earlier.  They dug up their cache and hiked the supplies back up to Camp 2.  Now resupplied, they are ready to take advantage of whatever weather window might present itself in the coming days.

Here’s Adam!
