The June 25th expedition team has officially reached High Camp (17,200 ft / 5,243 m)! Mountain Trip guide Jordan called in with the update, sharing that the entire team moved efficiently and with strong energy on the climb from 14 Camp. Spirits are high as they settle into their new altitude home above the clouds.
The move up involved a steady push along the fixed lines and across the exposed ridgeline, and the team worked in excellent sync from start to finish. With weather cooperating, this was a textbook move to 17 camp — a major milestone on their way to the summit.
Now tucked into camp, the crew is hydrating, fueling up, and recovering from the big day. They’ll continue monitoring the forecast closely as they rest and prepare for the final leg of their climb to Denali’s 20,310 ft (6,190 m) summit.
