The June 18th team made the big move today from Camp 2 (11,000 ft / 3,353 m) up to 14 Camp (14,200 ft / 4,328 m) — their new home base for the next stretch of the climb. Everyone moved well on the steep ascent up Motorcycle Hill, Squirrel Hill, and around Windy Corner, arriving in great spirits.
After a full day on the route, the team settled in with a well-earned dinner, soaking in the epic views of Mount Foraker and the surrounding peaks from their new vantage point. The energy is high, and they’re stoked to have reached this major milestone on the West Buttress.
