June 15th Team Weather Hold in Camp 3 Snow Storm

The June 15th team woke up to fresh snowfall blanketing camp, which means today’s planned move up the fixed lines to the 16,000 ft / 4,877 m ridge is officially on hold. With low visibility and continued accumulation, it’s another weather day at 14 Camp as the storm system lingers over the upper mountain.

While the snow piles up outside, the team is making the most of their downtime—sipping on miso soup, ramen, and chicken, staying warm and fueled in their tents. These hold days may test patience, but they also offer valuable rest and recovery as the team prepares for the steeper, more technical climbing ahead.

As always, Denali sets the pace. Stay tuned to see when this storm breaks—and tap the live recording link to hear today’s update straight from camp 🎙️
