The June 13th team is hunkered down at 14 Camp (14,200 ft / 4,328 m) today as a major snowstorm settles over the upper mountain. With more than a foot of new snow already accumulated, all movement is on hold for now. Visibility is low, winds are swirling, and the snow continues to fall steadily.
The team is embracing the rest day—cooking hot meals, reading, and staying cozy in their tents. Tonight’s dinner was a comforting batch of fried rice, and despite the storm, morale is high with lots of laughter and good energy in camp.
Rest days like this are a core part of the Denali rhythm, giving climbers time to recharge before the next big push. Once the weather clears, the team hopes to resume upward progress toward the 16K ridge and high camp beyond.
Stay tuned for tomorrow’s update—and tap the live recording link to hear the team’s reflections from deep in the storm

Message to Celine June 15th Team
Minh yeu oi, tonight I’ve told our 3 little bouzous about their brave and tough mum climbing a very very big mountain, carrying heavy pack, heavier than the 3 of them together, and sleeping in a tent under the snow and strong winds, in a country so far away that the sun never goes down in summer. I wish you can see their angel peaceful faces when they fell asleep in my arms.
From this last message I guess you’ve already climbed up the head wall to the ridge to cache supplies before moving up to high camp. I know with the heavy pack it’s a strenuous and steep climb despite the fixed lines, but I’m sure with your incredible mental the challenge is making you stronger and stronger.
Getting to high camp is a huge day, I hope you will have safe and proper conditions to take a rest day in high camp and good weather window for the summit push.
I can’t wait to receive your next message minh yeu.
Anh yeu minh and rat tu hao ve em. DaiTu
Hello to Aili and Holy as well, I wish the 3 of you to have the best weather conditions, great memorable time together and enjoy the spectacular climb to summit
