June 19th Team Snowy Weather at Camp 2

The team is checking in tonight from Camp 2 at 11,000 ft / 3,353 m, where they enjoyed a relaxing day after a successful back-carry to retrieve their cache below. Spirits are high after a slower-paced day, giving everyone time to rest, hydrate, and regroup.

Light snow is falling this evening, adding a peaceful hush to camp as they wind down after dinner.

Tomorrow, weather permitting, the team plans to carry a cache around Windy Corner, climbing up and beyond 13,000 ft / 3,962 m—a dramatic and exposed section of the West Buttress that marks the gateway to the upper mountain.

Fingers crossed for good conditions as they prepare for a big day ahead. Tap the recording link for the latest from camp 🎙️
