The June 9th team made a big move today — climbing all the way from Camp 2 (11,000 ft) to their new home at Camp 3 (14,200 ft) in a single push. With perfect weather overhead and glowing peaks in every direction, spirits were high and hearts were full.
It was one of those rare Denali days — warm sun, little wind, and a clear view of the endless Alaska Range, stretching as far as the eye can see. The team couldn’t stop saying it: this might just be the most beautiful place in the world.
Feet are sore, but everyone is warm, grateful, and feeling incredibly lucky to be here. Camp 3, nestled in the wide expanse of Genet Basin, will be home for a bit as the crew acclimates and prepares for the steeper climbing to come.
And while this update comes a little belated, the team wants to send out huge love for Father’s Day — to dads, father figures, and families back home holding down the fort so this adventure can happen. Your support means everything.
Warm sleeping bags, hot meals, and happy hearts tonight.
More soon from higher up the mountain 🏔💙
