Ashley called in this evening from Team Louise back down at Camp 3/14,200ft. They have been going hard on this trip, having already made a trip up to high camp and retreating after the weather closed back down. They are settled back in at Camp 3 now, recharging and recovering and watching the weather closely to see when they’ll get another shot at moving to the upper mountain. The weather has been tricky for the last week or so with just a few small windows of good weather followed by wind and snow. The climbers need a decent window of weather of about 3 days to be able to move up to high camp and then push to the summit, so they’ll be watching our forecasts and sticking their nose out the tent in hopes of seeing the weather they need.
Here’s Ashley checking in this evening from C3…

Cheering you on, team Louise! Since my sister’s team (May 8th) is off the mountain, I’ve transferred my support to you!
Good luck Louise for a fine summit day
You’ve got this Lou!!!
