Grant called in for the May 8th team this evening after another day of waiting out the weather at the 14,200ft camp. They spent some time practicing some of the mountaineering skills they’ll need as they move up to high camp, including using a fixed rope and passing running protection. They’re doing great, but maybe going a bit stir crazy and watching the weather forecasts closely for the coming days. Grant wanted to pass on a Happy Birthday to Britanny!
