65 Degrees North expedition holding at 14-Camp due to weather, hoping to push to High Camp today

Mountain Trip guide Eli Potter called in from 14,200′ on the West Buttress on behalf of the June 7/65 Degrees North Expedition.

Unfortunately the team has had more snow and high winds over the past couple of days, but they are enduring and spirits are still high on the team. Eli noted that many teams have cut their losses and descended due to lack of time.

They will not have a chance to cache above Windy Corner as usual, so they will carry slightly heavier packs on the trip up approximately 3,000′ up to High Camp at 17,200′. They are hoping for a small weather window today to make their move and will hopefully be able to take advantage of a forecasted small weather window to make their summit push.
