Everest team back in Base Camp after rotation to Camp Two

The Mountain Trip Everest team descended today from Camp 2 back to the comparatively thick air of Everest Base Camp, traveling through the Ice Fall in the very early hours of the morning.  The team will be here in Base Camp for three or four days of welcome rest and relaxation before their next rotation on the route.
Our Base Camp this year is very luxurious. Our long time cook, Sarki, is working his magic. Showers, good coffee lots and it looks like some nice weather for a while here. The jetstream flow over Asia seems to be weak this year with no signs of dangerous winds moving towards Everest and the Himalaya for the foreseeable forecast. The dining dome tent is totally setup and a very fun place to hang out for the team for the next couple of days before they head back through the Khumbu Ice Fall and higher on the route.
