May 31-West Buttress Expedition Wrap-up

Hello,

This is lead guide Michael Burmeister bringing you the final blog post for the May 31st West Buttress expedition. First of all, I just want to say thanks to all the team members for their help, patience, and perseverance. An additional thanks to assistant guides Jared Vilhauer and Sean McManamy for all their expertise with regard to climbing Denali, both safely and efficiently, not to mention the enlightening and informative dinner conversation. I hope everyone is transitioning back to pre-Denali life seamlessly and enjoying some of the simpler things that reside outside the mountains.  Best of luck to Jared and Sean as they return for another sojourn up the mountain in a matter of days. Morten, I hope the fishing was to your liking, Steve your headed to the beach, so I think you will be fine, Shaun hope to see you in the mountains again, and to the rest of the Wharton crew, congratulations on graduating, and best of luck with the coalescence of the dynamic worlds of business and the mountains. Unforgettable experiences and people and looking forward to the multimedia version of the trip.

Thanks again and I hope to see you all in the hills again soon,

Michael, Sean, Jared
