The team took advantage of the calm, clear weather yesterday to move from Base Camp to Camp 1 at 7800′. Mark called in the update, and he reports that the team moved well and was feeling good after the 5 mile trek up the Kahiltna glacier. It sounds like the team is settling in to camp and enjoying the guide team’s mountain cuisine.
