June 18 Team Caches above Windy Corner

Today the members of the June 18th team discovered the origins of the name “windy corner”. Windy corner lived up to its name and the team had to work for the ascent to 13,500′. But the team persevered and cached a load of equipment and supplies, then returned to Camp 2 at 11,200′. Lead guide Jesse Wright reports that everyone is doing well and excited to move to 14 Camp in the beautiful Genet basin tomorrow.
