June 19th Team Pending a Last High Point Attempt

The June 19th Team is doing great and currently holding position at 14 Camp as they monitor conditions. The group is considering either a short high point attempt to the 16,000 ft ridge before beginning their descent in the next day or two. Every step so far has been rooted in safety and teamwork.

Once they start their descent, the team will move across more than 13 miles and descend over 6,000 vertical feet, crossing some of the most iconic terrain on Denali. From technical snow to vast glacier fields, their return route will mirror the same effort and care that’s brought them this far. The team has been steady, focused, and connected throughout the climb.

Like all others this season, their summit window was closed by significant avalanche risk above 17,200 feet. That said, this team has still done something extraordinary. Their grit, spirit, and trust in the process have made this a climb to be proud of. Big congratulations to everyone—we’re honored you chose to do this with Mountain Trip!
