Yahoo! We are all back in Base Camp after a long few days. The whole group summitted on May 20th on a perfect day. We had an absolutely beautiful sunrise over Tibet on our way up. Everyone did very well with no problems or issues.

Yesterday saw us descend from Camp 4 at the South Col down to Camp 2. This morning we descended the icefall very early and we are here now, tired and very happy! We are enjoying perfect weather today here at BC, although up high there is now a lot of wind hammering the upper camps. We are very happy that we are not to be up high now, and it sounds like the jet stream has shifted back to close to the summit.

That’s all behind us now as our focus is currently on packing and getting ready to leave for Kathmandu over the next couple days! Cheers from Everest Base Camp!  We’ll post some more over the next few days.
