Jack, Alain, Joel, and maybe Kim at 14,200′

The crew sounds great after enjoying a Thanksgiving dinner!

They moved up from 11,200′ today, which is a long, hard push.  They had to climb up and out of the basin in which they were camped and onto the first steep slopes of the route.  They donned crampons and worked their way up two long hills until they reached a long, gradual incline that led alongside the massive granite flanks of the West Buttress proper.

At the far end of the long rising field, they climbed up and around the infamous Windy Corner, and then picked their way past some monster crevasses and into the bustling 14,200′ (4328m) camp.
