They woke up to wind and snow again this morning and weren't able to go for the summit again. It needs to be a pretty nice day high on Denali to spend the 12 hours + that it can take to go up to 20,320 ft and back. It sounds

They passed the phone around for the whole team to get a chance to say hello. Sean McManamy starts out the call saying they are all doing good at Camp 1 after a "spicy" day of glacier travel yesterday. They were able to navigate the worst of the crevassed areas

They climbed up to 16,800 ft today and cached some food and gear for their push up to high camp. It was a cloudy day with a bit of snow, which made for great skiing conditions on the descent. Tomorrow they'll take a rest/acclimatization day, which probably means they'll ski

They are out of base camp! It took an extra day, but they are on their way up the mountain. Joe called this morning from Camp 1 after traveling up the lower Kahiltna glacier through the night. They had to wind around a lot of crevasses to get there, but

Kelly called in from high camp after moving up on a reasonably nice day. They were settling in this evening melting snow for water and making some soup and dinner. Everyone did great today, and they are excited to be up at 17,200 ft. Click below to listen to Kelly's

Jared called in this afternoon from Camp 2 at 11,200 ft. They got an early start this morning again, and were in camp before lunch time. It was a bit cloudy this morning, but improved as they moved up in altitude from 7,800 to over 11,000 ft. They are doing

They woke up to winds, snow, and low visibility this morning, so did not go for the summit today. The weather improved a bit during the day, and they are looking forward to a nice day tomorrow. We're hoping for a call that we can post still tonight.
