Trip Reports
We just received the call from the top of the world!  The entire team is on the top right now, at 6:55am Nepal Time.  It's a beautiful morning and they are enjoying the views from the top of the world.  Congratulations to our climbers, guides, and of course the Sherpa
We just got the call from our base camp manager, Dawa Sherpa, that our team is on the S. Summit and less than 2 hours from the true summit of Mt Everest.  They are moving strong and the weather is perfect!  All climbers and Sherpa doing great and continuing to
This expedition has drawn to a close.  Stay tuned for a final entry courtesy of Nick Shepherd.
The Everest Team is on the way to the summit tonight!  They left high camp just before 11pm and are on their way to the Balcony right now.   They reported almost no wind tonight and everyone is doing great.   We'll hear from them again when they reach the S. Summit
Ania and Tarke are back down to high camp now after a summitting Lhotse this morning.  They are brewing up some tea and having a bit to eat and then they'll continue down to Camp 3 for the night.  Great job Ania!! The Everest Team is feeling strong and ready
Eric Larson called in from the team's third camp on their ascent of the West Buttress of Denali. They pushed up into a beautiful basin camp at 11,200' (3400m) today.  It sounds like they had a beautiful, sunny day and arrived early enough to have the opportunity to kick back
Chris Paul and Bart  called in from 11,200' (3400m), to update us on their day.  They carried supplies around the infamous Windy Corner to cache at about 13,500' (4115m) and it sounds like it was a very, very hot day, something that most folks do not consider encountering on Denali.
I'm pretty sure the caller is Jim Molnar, reporting on the doings of the crew, which spent the day at 14,200' camp (aka Mr. Roger's Neighborhood wow- rest days can really give you a lot of time to think!). They spent the day organizing their kits for moving up to
We just got the call from base camp and Ania and Tarke Sherpa are on the summit of Lhotse!!  They summit-ted just after 8am this morning and made great time this morning.  They are climbing strong and will enjoy the summit for a few minutes before heading back down.   We
John Race called to report the team taking a rest day at Camp 3.  Part of the team went to enjoy the view from the "Edge of the World," which overlooks 3500' down into the Northeast Fork of the Kahiltna glacier.  The group plans on moving up the fixed lines
