The guys are at low camp again tonight after doing an acclimatization hike earlier today, and Sebastian was giving John some crevasse rescue training. They're having a great time and hope to move up to high camp as early as tomorrow. Here's John. recording

John and Sebastian moved up to Camp 1 or "low camp" today in a 5 1/2 hour push. It's a good long day with big packs, and pulling sleds full of food, but they did great. They'll ring in the New Year there at low camp, and then plan to

The team is had a great day today, carrying loads of personal equipment and food up to Camp 1 before returning to base camp tonight. This was their first time moving up the mountain with their packs and gear and it sounds like they enjoyed themselves. Tonight they are back
