R. Marek – Aconcagua 2014

The food was outstanding.  Nick pulled out a whole cantaloupe one day on the trail, and Fermin brought out fresh cherries. Fermin turned out to be a fantastic cook, even at the higher camps.  Hard to choose favorite meal – Parrillas after day 1 of the hike, pizza with fresh tomatoes and basil at base camp, or tacos with fresh onions, fresh tomatoes and cheese at Camp 1?  Let’s not forget the Malbec. A great job on the food!
