Yesterday the team enjoyed a rest day at Camp 3 in preparation for moving up to High Camp today. During a rest day, the team will often practice their fixed line ascension, using their ascenders and practicing moving around pickets. They may even make a trip to an overlook known as the Edge of the World. A dramatic spot where the plateau drops 3,000’ down to the East fork of the Kahiltna Glacier. This is also a great day for lounging, reading, and enjoying all the snacks they hauled up!
