Clint Cook
Hey Y’all! My name is Clint and I have been guiding professionally since 2000. I started in the Cascades, but quickly made the move to Ouray and have been in the San Juans for almost 20 years now. I was the 25th American to gain IFMGA certification and have been a member of the American Mountain Guides Association Instructor Team since 2008. I enjoy working with guests in all disciplines around the world, though water ice will always be my specialty due to the amount of time I’ve spent doing it every winter. My favorite mountains in the world are the Dolomites of Northern Italy, though the Canadian Rockies are close behind. Sharing the mountains with my guests is a true love of mine. I always try to see every routes the eyes of my guest, and strive to pass on my core values of courage, discipline, and respect. I currently reside in Placerville (just outside of Telluride) with my beautiful wife Ryan, my energetic daughter Austin, and our loco cattle dog mutt Hinto.
Let’s go climbing!
Berg Heil!
