Joe Butler called in from Vinson Base Camp, after the team descended from high camp, following their successful summit of Mount Vinson on Friday. The plan is to fly to Union Glacier in the ski-equipped Twin Otter airplanes; however, the weather has shut down flights for the time being. One good thing about Antarctica in December is that you can fly at any hour, so as soon as the weather clears, the planes will launch!
