Jeff Dobronyi
I am an IFMGA Mountain Guide and Lead Guide at Mountain Trip. I specialize in finding the best powder skiing in the winters, skiing the steepest lines in the spring, and finding the world’s most classic rock climbs in the summer and fall. And when the day in the mountains is over, I’m known to find the best restaurants and most unique cultural experiences.
Guiding since 2011, my career highlights include guided ski descents of the Grand Teton, guided ski weeks in every corner of the Alps, and guided alpine climbs of the Grand Teton’s Exum Ridge and the North Ridge of Piz Badile. On the rock, I have guided ascents of classic rock climbs in Eldorado Canyon, Moab’s Canyonlands, Red Rock Canyon in Nevada, and many peaks of California’s Sierra Range, not to mention climbs all over Italy’s Dolomites. I have guided heli-skiing in Iceland, Switzerland, and Canada, and I’ve guided many British Columbia Backcountry Skiing Lodge Trips. At high altitude, I have guided climbers to the summits of Aconcagua and Denali with an unblemished safety record.
I found my calling as a Mountain Guide at the age of 18 and haven’t looked back since. My zest for life, wide-ranging mountain experience, and easygoing yet safe approach to mountain guiding make me one of the best in the business. I coach my clients to the peaks of their dreams, forging deep friendships and finding adventure along the way.
