After several days at 14 Camp (14,200 ft / 4,328 m) waiting out recent snowfall, the June 15th team led by Marcus spent the day checking forecasts, evaluating route conditions, and discussing options with guides and fellow climbers.
With improving weather and more stable snow reports coming in, the team made a unanimous decision to push higher — they’ll be heading up the fixed lines to 16,000 ft tomorrow, aiming to reach High Camp at 17,200 ft / 5,243 m shortly after. The energy is high, and everyone’s feeling ready for the next big step.
They’re now one move closer to the summit of Denali — the highest point in North America. Spirits are strong, packs are getting prepped, and excitement is building for what’s ahead.
