Jordan’s crew had a successful cache today at the 16,000 ft ridge — a major milestone on the West Buttress route. The team is strong, stoked, and continuing to ride a streak of impeccable timing, syncing their movements with windows of excellent weather and stable conditions.
After caching gear above the fixed lines, they’ve returned to 14 Camp (14,200 ft / 4,328 m) to rest and recover before making their next big move: the push to High Camp at 17,200 ft (5,243 m). With the summit of Denali — North America’s tallest peak — now in sight, the team is staying focused, acclimated, and dialed for the final leg of their ascent.
Stay tuned — the summit window is approaching.
