June 11th Team Climbs to 14K in Stunning Conditions

Jordan’s team has officially made it to Camp 3 — and they couldn’t have asked for better conditions. The weather has been clear and stunning, with views stretching across the vast Alaska Range and sun lighting up the basin.

Everyone is doing well, moving strong, and stoked on their progress so far. Spirits are high, and the team is settling into the rhythm of life above 14,000 ft.

Tomorrow will be a back carry day, where they’ll descend to retrieve their cache just below Windy Corner — a classic part of the West Buttress route. This gives them a chance to rest a bit, move light, and practice essential skills before heading higher.

After that, the route steepens. The team will begin preparing for the Sheridan Headwall — a steep, technical face that leads to the fixed lines and the ridge up toward High Camp. It marks a shift in the climb: thinner air, bigger exposure, and a whole new level of mountain.

But for now — they’re soaking in the views, resting, and readying for what’s next.

More soon from higher on the mountain 🏔✨
