They did it! The May 28th team reached the summit of Denali — 20,310 ft / 6,190 m — the tallest peak in North America! 🙌
After a 12.5 hour round trip from High Camp (17,200 ft / 5,243 m), they moved strong and steady through one of the most intense sections of the climb: the Autobahn, a steep, exposed traverse above Denali Pass, where climbers are clipped into fixed lines with sheer drop-offs below.
They kept climbing — across the massive Football Field, up Pig Hill, and finally along the narrow summit ridge — before standing on top of Alaska in blue skies and big emotion.
This is a huge accomplishment — one that many teams never reach. It takes grit, team trust, weather windows, and a whole lot of heart. The crew is back at 17 Camp, tired, thirsty, and absolutely glowing with stoke.
Tomorrow they’ll start the journey back down — but tonight? They’re summiters.
