Big day for the June 5th team — they successfully cached gear on the 16,000 ft ridge (4,877 m) above the fixed lines on the Sheridan Headwall, a huge accomplishment on the West Buttress. Some teams never make it this far, and this crew is moving strong.
After caching, the team made a safe descent back to 14 Camp (14,200 ft / 4,328 m) to refuel with a delicious dinner and rest up for the next phase.
