Denali Expedition Update – June 3, 2025
Camp 3 (14 Camp) | Elevation: 14,200 ft / 4,328 m | Weather: Cold, cloudy, and calm — awaiting a summit window
The team at Camp 3 — often called “14 Camp” — is currently settled in and standing by for a break in the weather before continuing their push higher. Perched on a large plateau at 14,200 feet (4,328 meters), this is a key staging area for summit bids on the West Buttress route. Though the altitude is high and the stakes are rising, spirits remain steady and strong.
Everyone is healthy, in a good mood, and making the most of this active rest period. They’ve been fueling up on great food (and plenty of snacks), staying engaged with music, books, and whatever keeps the energy flowing while they wait.
