The May 24th West Buttress expedition team put forward a solid effort in attempting to carry a load up around Windy Corner 13,300 ft / 4054 m) which involves a steep snow climb up the 1,000 ft high Motorcycle Hill. The team reported that halfway up this section of the climb the team was forced to turn around in high winds and white out conditions. Following their down climb in very windy conditions the crew enjoyed warming up in their tents before a hearty dinner and high spirits regardless of the weather! They are looking forward to moving on up and caching around Windy Corner as soon as weather allows. Tap below to hear the update live:
