Welcome to our Mount Everest Expedition dispatches for the 2021 season.  It’s been a tough year for everyone, and it’s exciting to be looking forward to climbing big mountains again!  After cancelling our 2020 Himalaya season, we’re headed back to Mount Everest in a couple of weeks and the preparation is well underway for the season.  Our Sherpa team in Nepal has been organizing gear and will be heading up towards basecamp in the next few days to get everything set.

We’re proud to be working with these guys again, they are the best and have 40+ Everest Summits among the group.  Here’s our team for 2021!

Climbing Team:

Camp Staff:

Dawa Sherpa (Sirdar),Phurba Sarki Sherpa (Head Chef), Kami Sherpa, Bir Bahadur Tamang, Ngawang Goden Sherpa, Sanjay Tamang, Pasang Karma Sherpa

It takes a team to put together an expedition to climb Mount Everest.  These guys have been packing the gear and supplies in Kathmandu and everything is on the way to basecamp now.  Over the next couple of weeks all of the staff will be arriving in basecamp and setting things up for the season prior to the arrival of our climbers and guides.

 

We’re always grateful for the hard work of this talented team and everyone is excited to be back in the mountains and we look forward to a safe and successful season in 2021!
