The May 17 West Buttress team made the move from Camp Two at 11,200′ to Camp Three at 14,200′, where they will spend a few days!
The team crossed many notable landmarks along the way, including Motorcycle Hill, Pig Hill and the Polo Fields, and of course the infamous Windy Corner, but it sounds like they enjoyed great weather conditions throughout the climb, with beautiful views of the surrounding peaks of the Alaska Range.
Here’s the update!
Great effort! So glad to hear the weather was kind – the view must be amazing. Take care, Terri Anne
