Paul called in this evening with the update from the DSUSA team. They moved up to Camp 1 on the Kahiltna glacier today hauling all of their gear, food/fuel, and equipment in their packs and in sleds they hauled behind. It’s always a tough day, which Paul described as grueling, but they are enjoying the incredible scenery and doing great. Tomorrow they plan to carry a load of food and fuel up to about 10,000 ft where they will cache it and then return to spend the night at Camp 1.
