The June 11 team called in with another bilingual (and somewhat unintelligible, in parts) update on their progress on the West Buttress Route.
The team spent another day at 14,200′ resting, preparing themselves for the upper mountain and waiting on the weather to improve. They plan to move to High Camp tomorrow, June 21.
Here’s the team’s update:
Dear Aba and Yftah and all the team.
We are reading the reports breathless, thinking of you 24/7. Trying to imagine the next few days remaining to reach the summit. Hope you are well, Hope the MATZAVRUAH is high.
Love you so much. NESHIKOT
Ima.
Dear Remo and team
we wish you much power and fine weather to reach our aim – to reach the summit. We hope all of you are in a good mood and your health is ok.
We send you lot of love and power
Judith and Eveline
(ich war heute bei ihr und da haben wir deine Sprachnachricht zusammen gehört. Sehr lieb, danke!)
