Mountain Trip guide Pablo Parunjacas checked in from camp at 11,000 ft. on the West Rib route on Denali, their Camp 2. While the team was hoping to carry supplies up higher on their route, the weather kept them in camp for a rest day. The day prior, the team had a successful five-hour climb up the route, and undoubtedly enjoyed some of the best views in the Alaska Range. Weather permitting, they hope to move up to Camp 3 at 14,000 ft. soon to continue up the route for the summit. They’re anticipating that weather will clear within the next few of days, but in the meantime, they’ll rest up for the journey ahead. To check out the weather at 14,000 ft. on Denali, click here.
