MAY 26 TEAM AT 14 CAMP, BACKCARRIES

All is well with the May 26th team. The weather has been pretty tough, very cold and windy, but they were able to descend approximately 700′ to retrieve equipment and supplies they cached a few days ago. The team plans on monitoring the weather closely, and at the first opportunity they will carry a load of equipment and supplies up the fixed lines, one of the steepest sections on the climb, to cache at 16400′ (5000 m). Until the weather clears, the team will rest, relax, and hydrate in the relative comfort of camp.
