The United Arab Emirates team camped at 11,200′ had a short work day today.  They dropped out of camp to retrieve the cache of supplies they had deposited at about 10,200′ a couple days earlier.  The weather was not too good, but as they knew they had just a short bit to travel, they punched it out.  Well done, team!

Two of the climbers have been having issues with their feet, challenges that had presented on their first day out of Base Camp.  The issues have not been able to be resolved and so they decided that the best course of action was to not continue to further injure their feet by continuing upward.  They are back down at Camp 1 in the company of a few of our guides and plan to hike out to Base Camp in the morning.
