The group of climbers from Seven Summits Club, climbing with three Mountain Trip guides, pushed a load of gear up onto the ridge at about 16,400′ today. They took advantage of a break in the snowy weather to climb higher on the West Buttress route, before returning to their camp at 14,200′ for the night.
Tomorrow, they plan to move up to high camp, with a potential summit bid coming as soon as Friday. Much depends on the weather on Denali, so each day they will wake up and see what the weather looks like before finalizing their plans.
