Another day of stormy weather in the Alaska Range today. The team is in good company up at Camp 3, with 2 other Mountain Trip teams waiting out the storm and hoping to move up the mountain. It’s been over a week now since our teams have been able to move up to high camp, so this stormy weather has worn out it’s welcome with the climbers and hopefully it will be moving out in the next day or so. The forecast is looking up for tomorrow…
The team spent the day digging out their camp from the snow and wind blown snow drifts, eating, drinking, reading, and maybe even a little nap. They’ll be ready and enthusiastic to go when the weather breaks.
