I grew up in a small town nestled deep in the Wrangell St. Elias National Par, where I was raised exploring the local mountains. This love for mountains and dramatic landscapes has directed my pursuits and many of my life choices.

When I was eighteen I moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming where I took my climbing and skiing to another level. I was fortunate to have had many great mentors teaching me in the more technical aspects of traveling in the mountains. The Tetons are grand, but after a while I started craving the vast wilderness and mountain ranges of Alaska.

Nowadays,  in the winters I work for a non-profit reaching out to kids in remote Alaskan villages. My favorite classes to teach are Aviation Ground School and Outdoor Leadership. My down time during the short Alaskan days is spent skiing and climbing in the backcountry. In the summers you might find me rock climbing or mountain biking.

2016 will be my third season working with Mountain Trip. I feel so fortunate to work with such a fun and professional team. I am always being inspired and encouraged by my fellow guides.

Denali has been a fun adventure and every year I am fascinated by its beauty. I look forward to the next season and many more to come.
